2 Corinthians 5:14-15 (NIV)
14 For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died.
15 And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.
Woke with a good sleep, after being kept awake late, after the late afternoon snooze. It was wet outside so indoors activities were on the cards.
Had breakfast and checked emails and social media.
I was thinking of the club and how they were faring in the rain.
I decided to continue on my project work, and other documents.
Even though the day was a drag, it soon passed through lunch and then dinner, with curried sausages.
I checked my SMS and found out the club has abandoned the camp as it was too wet.
While checking social media, I was surprised of the number of people that purchase things and then post to find out how to operate the item, and whether it was a good buy.
This is particularly so with caravan buyers. Complaints such as:
- I am going off the grid. My lights work but the switches don’t. Didn’t realise that when on 12v the 240v PowerPoints have no power
- I can’t get the fridge working on gas. The selector was on 240v, the gas was not turned on, did not realise that both buttons on the fridge need to be pushed in to ignite the pilot light, or have the fridge turned up to max which won’t let it cool down as it overpowers the compressor.
- How to tow properly.
Just blew my mind. I have been towing caravans for years and my father was towing caravans for my whole upbringing. I get so annoyed that there is a lot more to learn than buy the van, hitch up and drive off.
I completed another leg of the trail project with 114 km added.
A check of the weather before bed and it will get interesting tomorrow.
