Up early this morning to get ready for a bushwalk. Drove with Andy to Jima and met at the Sports Club and waited for the rest arrive. We then walked out to The Big Hole on Yabba Creek and then passed the pump-station and continued to a track. Turning right this track came out onto the Kilcoy-Murgon Road, which was crossed onto 1 1/4 Mile Road. This was followed to a track to the right which was then followed down to a creek and then turning right ascended to the Jimna Range and met the Kilcoy-Murgon Road, which was followed for a shot distance to the Forestry Station and back to the Sports Club, a 12.5 km walk.
Then had my lunch and talked about the walks for the afternoon.
Just needed to check the access behind the barracks and go out to the lookout.
So after lunch drove to the town common and walked around the barracks and noticed the lantana had been removed and the track was open.
We then drove to Yednia Lookout and observed a unique view with many bluffs at the end of the Jimna/Conondale Ranges. The vista included the old township of Yednia, and the Kilcoy-Murgon Road snaking its way up the Jimna Range.
The we made our way home, getting there just before the storm hit.
Then I made dinner and had a quiet night studying Hezekiah.
I decided to concentrate my bible study on characters of the bible to see how the develop through the various books and where books contain similarities.
Then it was time for bed.
