Another work day.

Lunchtime walk turned out to be funny. As we were walking in the Botanic Gardens, we came across a sprinkler. The sprinkler was watering a sector and as we approached it the watering started. I and one other kept on going, which was against the movement of the sprinkler, so only getting a few drops. The other walker turned around a moved with the sprinkler, getting quite wet!

I started having gastro problems as the afternoon wore on, so at 4.00pm I left work and made my merry way to Central Station to catch the train and bus home and then pack for the camp at Jimna. Arriving home, I had the juice for dinner, then made the juice for breakfast and the put all the juices in the travel fridge. I then packed my clothes, etc. and waited to be picked up.

Once we left there was lightning all around, and just started to rain. Once on the Bruce Highway travelling toward Caboolture, the rain got quite heavy. Turning onto the D’Aguilar Highway the rain eased until Woodford, when we struck another downpour. Once we approached kilcoy the country was bone dry. Turning onto Winya Road, and then onto Kilcoy-Murgon Road, it was still dry. The clouds had rolled back to a starry night.

Once we reached the Jimna Range then the vestige of a recent shower was evident, and this was seen to the top of the range. Once on top it was back into the dry.

Arriving at Jimna Base Camp, opened up the Administration Block, our digs for the weekend, and made the bed, and sat down to a nice herbal tea, before climbing into bed.
