Woke early to get ready for a bushwalk. This will be a first during the juicing fast, so will be interesting to see how my body reacts. 

Arrived at Matthew Flinders Park to a small number of people eager to give this walk a go. The walk headed along the Steve Irwin Way to Beerburrum then just past the school took the road to the cemetery. Just past this junction was the formation of a new walking track that goes to the summit of Mount Beerburrum then on to Jack Ferris Lookout.  Continuing on, the walk followed the Soldier Settlers Walk. Just prior to the rock outcrop a new track veered left. The walk continued to follow the original track till just before a bridge where the new track re-joined. The new track appears to detour further away from the private property boundary and the rocky section of the track.  Once the Trachyte Circuit was joined, it was followed to Jack Ferris Lookout, which as the track neared the lookout, the new track joined this.  From the lookout, the track was followed out to the car park, and there were other deviations being put in with straight road crossings and the walk extended. 

At the car park, it was pleasing to see a new toilet block and other infrastructure being put in to replace the Tibrogargan car park, where we stopped for lunch.

After lunch, we followed the Tibrogargan Circuit around the base of Mount Tibrogargan with its various lookouts then walked out to Matthew Flinders Park from the eastern carpark.  The total walk was 13 km and I did not suffer at all from this lifestyle change.

That evening it was back to the Diabetic Health Clinic for another 2 hours session, which this time had a look at how we were progressing at day 10 and our experiences so far, and what was coming up in the next week. Returned home and prepared juices for work the next day’s lunch and breakfast. Then it was time for bed and another good night’s sleep.
