Woke feeling better, but now had to struggle to get to the pathologist to give a fasting blood test. How much I needed breakfast!!
When it was time to drop the girls off to school, I eagerly got in the car and drove them and then continued to the pathologist. When I arrived there was no one waiting, so I went straight in and had the blood test. I then drove home and had the long-waited-for breakfast.
All this time I felt no discomfort, apart from pins and needles and numbness so the medication was doing its job.
At home, I worked through private tasks and the workbook from the Diabetic Health Clinic, bible study and the like.
That night I went to bed and had little trouble sleeping.
