A workday.
A wet day.
A pretty miserable day all round. A chance to deal with some new ideas including training.
My lunch buddy and I could not even go for our customary lunchtime walk as it was too wet, so we made arrangements to invite staff for the next day.
After work walked with my lunch buddy to South Bank Station with plenty of mirth and philosophic banter. Made it to South Bank without being rained on. Said our goodbyes and I took my train to Roma Street Station to change to my train home. I settled in and did some games and bible study on the train. On arrival at Rothwell, it was a short transfer to the bus and then home, and it started to rain again. Made it home dry though.
While watching TV, I was blogging and playing games, having dinner, and then fell asleep. My wife woke me to go to bed.
“I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the Lord sustains me.” – (NIV)
