With a few friends sleeping over with my second daughter, not much was done around the place.
Instead, I slept in and upon having breakfast, set up my office in the family room and processed various registrations, newsletters and other tasks that needed attention. I also tended to the garden and did some mowing, once the yard had dried out sufficiently.
I took the chance to go to Bunnings to get ideas for garden edging and low retaining wall. I found the ideal items so was very happy.
Once the was done, and I was hot and very sweaty, it was time to go inside, have a shower, and prepare for a new week.
Watch the Commonwealth Games Closing Ceremony and when it ended at 11.30pm, I thought it was a bit lame. Even the commentators were not impressed. Were did the athletes go..oh yeah that’s right, paraded in before the telecast!! Lame, lame lame.
Wasn’t worth the late night. So off to bed.
