The day to recover. Glad I decided to not camp overnight. The weather was horrendous from accounts.
So, I spent the day, emptying out the borrowed car, and trying to find a place for everything. My second daughter had her 16th birthday over the weekend, and the mess was something to behold!
I also worked on notes for the previous day’s walk and sought improvements from my end.
I then scoured the emails from the various accounts I administer.
More registrations for the BVRT Trek 4 DQ had come in so sent out those registration forms and logged their intention on the database. I have now got enough email addresses, that I should import them into MailChimp ready for tailored emails to the participants as organising proceeds.
After a busy day, and need to make sure I had clothes to wear to work, I watched a bit of television, before going to bed. While getting things ready, I noticed my sunglasses missing. Hmm! Where could they be? I last saw them on my head at lunch the previous day, and didn’t notice them since! Did I lose them on the walk yesterday? I fell in the creek, did they dislodge then and are gone for good? At least they were cheap sunglasses, I am not worried about that!
I am supposed to be doing exercises upon going to bed but was too tired to function. I fell asleep as my head hit the pillow.
