Nice to sleep in a tad!
Hot day to work, but battled through.
This is the third day of a heat wave, and the chance of a thunderstorm is very small. How a storm is needed to cool the place down.
Had to attend to middle daughter’s needs as she prepared herself with attending TAFE doing Certificate III in Nursing. After my wife came home with the money from the grandmother, went and bought a MacBook Air that should suffice for her study time over the next few years.
My own MacBook Air, which I use for this blog, is an early 2014 model and still behaves the way it was when I first acquired it. Have always loved Apple products due to their simplicity, but you can also get into the nuts and bolts if needed. I use Windows 10 at work, and the two are chalk and cheese.
After work, it was off to the shop to purchase said item, after finding out our original destination had sold out at that price, so had to go to the next best shop. On arrival and speaking to a shop assistant, the hunt was on. “There is one here”, “I did the stocktake on it yesterday”, “who moved it”, till there was, “here it is! Is there anything else?” With that paid for the item and went home to set it up and ready for school tomorrow…
