Too wet to play

Woke to pouring rain and howling wind.

Looks like a day in and do spring cleaning! I hope it won’t rain too long, there’s a lot of stuff outside already soaked and will need time to dry out.

As the day progressed, the wind decreased, and the rain intensity eased.

Had to duck out and do some shopping. Collected the needed goods, got to the checkout and no wallet. Back home and picked up the wallet and back to the shop. As I got back to the shop, the heavens opened. Went in and paid for the groceries and then had to make a run for it to get into the car…If only I had my wallet the first time, I would’t have got so wet!

At sunset, the whole place took on a dirty brown colour as the sun peeked below the cloud cover.
